William E. Thornton's NASA-issued Apollo-era mustard yellow flight jacket, with his gold-stamped "Bill Thornton, MSC-Houston" leather name tag affixed with Velcro to the left breast and an embroidered NASA 'meatball' patch sewn on the right. The classic jacket features a zippered front; two angled pockets with snap closures; wool knit rib cuffs, waistband, and collar; and a zippered pocket with pen/pencil slots on the left arm. No manufacturer's tag is sewn inside. In very good to fine condition, with some minor fraying and light overall wear.
