Scottish author and dramatist (1860-1937) best known for the classic children's play Peter Pan. ALS signed “J. M. Barrie,” one page both sides, 4.5 x 7, Leinster Corner letterhead, June 21, 1903. Handwritten letter to "Miss Herschel," in part: "Do you mind taking the enclosed cheque…I have a dislike for sending photographs for bazaars." In fine condition, with to small stains to the left edge.
