Description

TLS signed “Sincerely, Brian,” one page, 8.25 x 11.75, Hille House, 9 Stafford Street letterhead, November 4, 1965. Confidential business invitation sent from Brian Epstein's private office to record producer Ron Richards of A.I.R. International Ltd., concerning the appointment of Geoffrey Ellis and Bernard Lee to the board of directors of NEMS Enterprises Ltd. Epstein invites Richards to a private gathering at Brown's Hotel in London on November 10, 1965, to mark the occasion. Epstein adds the salutation in his own hand, “Dear Ron & Shirley,” the latter referring to Shirley Spence, George Martin's longtime personal assistant. Letter is marked “Strictly Private & Confidential” at the foot. In very good condition, with overall creasing and multiple intersecting folds. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
