Signed and inscribed on an opening page in ink, “To Barrett, Henry Ford, Jun. 15, 1940.” The half-title page is signed and inscribed to the same recipient, Barrett Kiesling, by the book's author, William Adams Simonds. Notably, the book contains a printed dedication page to Henry Ford, featuring Edison's tribute: “In the fullest and richest meaning of the term, he is my friend.” Autographic condition: fine, with some light marks. Book condition: G/None, with a cracked front hinge, sunning to spine, and an edge split and some fraying to spine cloth.
