Rare vintage UK ‘The Beatles’ magazine from 1963, published by PYX, 7.25 x 9.5, 28 pages, featuring a classic color Dezo Hoffman photograph of the band in their matching gray collarless suits on the cover, which is signed above their respective likenesses in ballpoint by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and Ringo Starr. In fine condition. Accompanied by letters of authenticity from noted Beatles experts Frank Caiazzo and Perry Cox, and a letter of provenance from the sister of the original recipient, who states that the autographs were obtained by her brother in 1963 at a Beatles performance in the Channel Islands. The Beatles played five concerts in the Channel Islands in August 1963 at the height of early Beatlemania: four nights at the Springfield Ballroom in Jersey (August 6, 7, 9, and 10) and one appearance at Candie Gardens in Guernsey (August 8th). A sought-after publication dating to this pivotal early phase of Beatlemania, signed by three Beatles just prior to their international breakthrough.
