Vintage glossy 4.5 x 3.5 deckle-edge candid close-up photo of John Lennon, signed in black ballpoint, "John." In very good to fine condition, with silvering to the dark areas, circular discoloration at the corners, and poor signature contrast. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, stating that the autograph "was obtained by the Brazilian Beatles fan Lizzie Bravo during her stay in London in the sixties. Lizzie arrived in London in February 1967 with a burning desire to meet The Beatles. She met and photographed John, Paul, George and Ringo on numerous occasions over the period 1967-1969 and built up a friendly relationship with the group and with John in particular. Lizzie, along with her friend Gayleen, was asked by Paul McCartney to sing backing vocals on The Beatles track 'Across The Universe.'" Also includes a provenance statement from Lizzie's daughter, Marya Bravo.
