Mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 8.75 x 12.75. In fine condition. The letter's reference to the Free Trade League speaks directly to the defining political battle of Churchill's early career, as he broke with his own Conservative Party over Joseph Chamberlain's protectionist tariff reform campaign, staking his political future on the free trade cause.
