Partly-printed DS, signed “Fred'k Douglass,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.5 x 14, April 13, 1883. Quit claim deed from Warner J. Kinderdine and his wife to Robert Davidson, conveying a tract of land in Washington, D.C. Signed on the docketing panel in ink by Frederick Douglass as recorder of deeds for the District of Columbia. In fine condition.

From the personal collection of a lifelong collector, teacher, and traveler with a passion for world history. His collecting years ranged from the 1970s to the present day, meaning that several of the premier pieces have not been on the market in decades.
