Mérimée,” one page, 4.75 x 7.5, no date. Handwritten letter explaining that he will unable to meet, in part (translated): "Urgent unexpected matters which force me to spend part of the night working awake. Tomorrow morning I will travel to Picardie where I have to give my opinion about a monument about to fall." In fine condition.
