Description

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 18 x 15, September 27, 1954. President Eisenhower appoints Brigadier General Charles G. Holle, United States Army, as a "Member of the Mississippi River Commission." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and countersigned by Secretary of the Army Robert T. Stevens. Imposingly archivally double-matted and framed with an oversized inaugural photograph to an overall size of 31 x 43. In fine condition.
