Pair of vintage matte-finish 5.5 x 9 photos of Mr. and Mrs. George Dewey by Clinedinst of Washington, D.C., affixed to the same 14 x 11 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in ink, "To Lieut. J. W. Crawford, with the warm regards of George Dewey" and "For Lieutenant Crawford with the kindest wishes of Mildred Dewey, July 1903.” In very good condition, with dampstaining to the mount, a small edge tear to Dewey's image, and two larger tears to the right edge of the mount.
