In full: "As your campaign goes forward, I want to express my appreciation of your able service in the House of Representatives. Respected among your colleagues and throughout the Administration, you have effectively served our country and your constituency. I earnestly hope that you will be overwhelmingly re-elected to Congress on November 8." In fine condition, with faint stains in the lower blank area. Halpern indeed won reelection, serving in Congress until 1973.
