Limited edition color 30 x 23.25 print of the Roy Grinnell painting 'The Spirit of Flight,’ numbered 24/80, which depicts portraits of aviation pioneers Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, and the Wright brothers, with images of their respective aircrafts, as well as a launching Space Shuttle, a soaring Bell X-1, an Apollo astronaut, and the emblem of the National Aviation Hall of Fame, all of which is set against an American flag backdrop, signed in the lower in pencil by 10 astronauts involved with the Apollo program: Alan Bean, Frank Borman, Vance Brand, Gene Cernan, Walt Cunningham, Charlie Duke, Fred Haise, James Lovell, Jim McDivitt, and Joe Engle. The print is also signed by record-breaking test pilot Dick Rutan and by the print’s artist, Roy Grinnell. Rolled and in fine condition, with scattered spotting to the borders.
