Addressed from "3 Norfolk Street," a handwritten letter to an unknown gentleman, in full: “I was very sorry for your disappointment on Friday, and I am also concerned that I cannot receive you tomorrow or Tuesday being engaged out of Town both days; but if convenient to you I shall be glad to see you here on Wednesday morning as soon after ten as may be convenient to you.” In fine condition.
From the personal collection of a lifelong collector, teacher, and traveler with a passion for world history. His collecting years ranged from the 1970s to the present day, meaning that several of the premier pieces have not been on the market in decades.
