President Fillmore authorizes and directs the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to “the conditional remission of the forfeiture of the British Ship Ottillia.” Signed boldly at the conclusion by Millard Fillmore. In fine condition. An uncommon presidential document that sees President Fillmore grant conditional remission in a maritime forfeiture case.
