Official contract between MGM Studios and First National Productions, with the former agreeing to loan “the exclusive services of Leila Hyams…for the role of ‘Angela’ in the photoplay entitled ‘Other Men’s Wives,’ to be produced by you and directed by Clarence Badger. Signed at the conclusion by Louis B. Mayer as vice president and countersigned by a representative of First National Productions. In fine condition.
Based on the 1928 West End play Other Men's Wives by Walter Hackett, Sweethearts and Wives was released in 1930 and starred Billie Dove, Clive Brook, Sidney Blackmer, and Leila Hyams.
Leila Hyams (1905–1977) was an American actress who, despite having a relatively short film career that began in 1924 during the era of silent films and ended in 1936, the blonde and blue-eyed ingenue and leading lady appeared in more than 50 film roles and remained a press favorite, with numerous magazine covers.
