Signed book: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. First edition. London: Bloomsbury Publishing, 2000. Hardcover with dust jacket, 5.5 x 8.25, 636 pages. Signed on the dedication page in blue felt tip, "J. K. Rowling.” Autographic condition: fine. Book condition: VG+/VG, with sunning to the jacket's spine. Accompanied by the receipt for the book, an admission pass to Rowling's book signing at Books Etc, O2 Centre, London, on July 19, 2000, and a flyer outlining the terms and conditions for the signing.
By the time Rowling published the fourth Harry Potter book, the franchise had taken on a life of its own and the author was signing fewer and fewer copies. In fact, to promote the publication, Rowling chose to do a mere four-day book-signing tour of England. As a result, autographed first editions of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are scarce and highly sought after.
