Large felt tip signature, “Merry Christmas, Mick Jagger,” on an off-white 8.25 x 11.75 sheet. The consignor notes that the signature was obtained in Bussum, Netherlands, in December 1986. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, faint haloing, and a central horizontal fold. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and a letter of provenance from the original recipient, which contains images of Jagger at the time of signing: “In the eighties I started collecting autographs...but only ‘in person’...This message was written and signed in Bussum, The Netherlands before Christmas in December 1986. Mick Jagger was in that little town for some weeks and lived in a small rented cottage, whilst recording his album ‘Primitive Cool’ at the Wisseloord Studios.”
