King of France (born 1553), the first of the Bourbon line, who ruled from 1589 until he was assassinated in 1610. Untranslated vellum manuscript DS in French, signed “Henry,” one page, 12.5 x 8.25, 1603. In very good condition, with overall soiling and light staining, a tear to the right edge, and Henry's signature light but entirely legible.
