Dwight D. Eisenhower

Two TLSs, both as president, both one page, one 6.75 x 8.75, and the other 6.75 x 10, both to Hobart C. Ramsey, dated 1954 and 1955. The first letter, dated March 24, 1954, reads, in part: “My best wishes go to everyone present at the 1954 National Open Golf Tournament in Springfield, New Jersey. I wish that it were possible for me personally to attend the tournament and to watch the outstanding golf which I am sure will be played.” Second letter invites Hobart to dinner at the White House in conjunction with a business convention. Both are individually framed to sizes of 7.5 x 9.5 and 7.5 x 11. In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light foxing to larger letter. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
