Sullivan writes “Henry” offering thanks and a suggestion. In part: “I am quite delighted with your two books of songs—they are so free from banalities, and full of real musicianly feeling. There are occasional touches which are admirable…Why not try something on a larger scale now? A short poem in Cantata form for Chorus & Solos.” In very good condition, with scattering soiling and staining. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
