Coltrane 'Live' at the Village Vanguard album signed neatly on the inner gatefold in blue ballpoint by Coltrane. In fine condition, with a small area of light dampstaining to the top of the hinge. The record is not included. Released in 1962 on Impulse Records, Coltrane's first live album was also his first record to feature the members of the classic quartet of himself with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones. A rare offering from one of jazz's great talents that would make for a sensational display piece once framed.
