Fabulous yellow 3.5 x 2.25 ticket for the Beatles' one-night appearance at the Grosvenor Ballroom in Norwich, England, on May 17, 1963, signed on the reverse in ballpoint, "John Lennon," "Paul McCartney," and "Ringo Starr," and in fountain pen, "George Harrison." The front of the ticket lists the Beatles' chart-toppers "Please Please Me" and "From Me To You," as well as opening act Ricky Lee and the Hucklebucks. Despite some old tape residue affecting the appearance, the signatures are strong and visible. The ticket itself is in fine condition, with expected age wear. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Circular Sound in Norwich, which lists the name and address of the gentleman who obtained it in person on the evening of the performance; two later newspaper articles mentioning the show at the Grosvenor (which was torn down soon after); and copies of the original newspaper ads for the show. A great relic from the very beginning of Beatlemania.
