#2155 - Jimmy Page BBC Tape Recording of 'She Just Satisfies / Keep Moving' Estimate: $4,000+

Original BBC Gramophone tape of Jimmy Page's 1965 debut solo single
An original reel of BBC Gramophone 1/4-inch audio tape that contains Jimmy Page’s 1965 debut solo single 'She Just Satisfies/Keep Moving,' released on Fontana Records on February 26, 1965. Page plays all instruments on the single apart from drums, and also handles the vocals. Contained in its original box with typed BBC label. In very good to fine condition, with moderate rubbing to label on cover; tape itself remains in overall fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. The recordings for 'She Just Satisfies' took place toward the end of Page's prolific career as one of the most sought-after session guitarists on the UK rock scene, but before he stepped into the spotlight as a member of the Yardbirds (and later Led Zeppelin). This was the only single Page released as a solo artist, and the only instance in which he is known to have provided lead vocals.
