Flown 5.75˝ x 4˝ American flag and 4˝ embroidered mission patch carried on the STS-8 mission, affixed to their original 16˝ x 20˝ display mount, reading: "This flag and patch were flown aboard Challenger (STS-8) the first night launch and landing of the Space Shuttle. Aug. 30–Sept. 5, 1983." In very good to fine condition, with surface scuffing to the navy blue mat.
