Published a decade after its 1911 first edition, this illustrated 1921 edition of The Boy's Life of Edison was written by William H. Meadowcroft, Edison's longtime personal secretary and close associate. Intended for young readers, the work drew upon Meadowcroft's firsthand knowledge of the inventor and became one of the earliest and most widely read biographical accounts of Edison's life.
