Unflown 10K gold STS-2 Robbins medallion, approximately 1.5˝ in diameter, with a raised design on the face featuring the mission insignia for the Space Shuttle Columbia's second flight. The reverse is encircled by the names of the astronauts, "Joe H. Engle" and "Richard H. Truly," and engraved with the launch date of November 12, 1981, and landing date of November 14, 1981. Serial numbered "15" on the edge, and marked with the Robbins "10K" hallmark. Condition is mint state. Includes its original plastic case with stiff blue liner. An exceedingly scarce memento from the second Space Shuttle mission, this represents one of only 19 gold STS-Robbins medallions minted.
