Color 18.25 x 29.25 NASA poster for the 20th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, signed in the lower border in felt tip by 22 Apollo astronauts, including the full Apollo 11 crew and 11 of the 12 moonwalkers: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Alan Shepard, Alan Bean, Edgar Mitchell, David Scott, Jim Irwin, John Young, Charlie Duke, Gene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt, Michael Collins, Frank Borman, James McDivitt, Jim Lovell, Tom Stafford, Richard Gordon, Fred Haise, Rusty Schweickart, Al Worden, Walt Cunningham, and Vance Brand. The poster depicts an artistic rendering of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface, the Earth reflected in his visor, and the LM Eagle in the background, with text of Neil Armstrong's famous quote at the top and bottom: "One Small Step For A Man / One Giant Leap For Mankind." Prepared by the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. Impressively triple matted and framed to an overall size of 30.25 x 41. In very fine condition.
Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA, a flash drive with images of several of the astronauts signing the poster, and a signed letter of provenance from the present owner, who states that seven of the signatures were already present when he purchased the poster in 2006. He subsequently obtained eight signatures in person at Astronaut Scholarship Foundation autograph shows, acquired five additional signatures through Novaspace Galleries, mailed the poster to Walt Cunningham for his signature, and later obtained Tom Stafford's signature at an Astronaut Scholarship Foundation event in 2009.
