Official Beatles Fan Club program for the Beatles concert held at the Liverpool Empire Theatre on December 7, 1963, for the Beatles Northern Area Fan Club Convention, signed on the back cover in ballpoint next to their likenesses by John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr. The inside of the bi-fold program, 5 x 8, features a schedule of events for the recording of an episode of the BBC television program Juke Box Jury, which was followed by a special fan club performance by The Beatles. In very good condition, with creasing, soiling, minor paper loss along the heavy fold intersections, and poor contrast to McCartney's signature against the dark suits. Tickets for this event were never available to the public and issued only to members of the band’s “Northern Area Fan Club.” Juke Box Jury was a weekly program featuring a celebrity panel giving their opinions on recently released records, rating them as ‘hit’ or ‘miss.’ After recording the show, the Beatles performed a 30-minute set for the invited fans.
