Professional wrestler and sometime actor (1903-1971) known in the wrestling world as the Super Swedish Angel. Johnson is best remembered for his roles in a number of schlock classics, including Ed Wood's iconic Plan 9 from Outer Space. Early vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 head-and-shoulders photo of Johnson in a suit and tie, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To My Pal Roy, from Tor Johnson.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, trimmed borders, and a tear to the lower left edge. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
