This timely aid is of more than ordinary value, and I have been requested by the Trustees of the College to express to you their cordial thanks for your donation. Permit me also in the name of the Faculty, & on my own behalf, to thank you for your valuable gift." Handsomely matted with two carte-de-visite portraits and framed to an overall size of 12.5 x 18.5; the frame's backing bears an affixed Goodspeed's Book Shop label and Goodspeed's certificate. In fine condition, with some light creasing to the top.
