President Pierce authorizes and directs the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to “the pardon granted to John W. Kitteridge.” Signed prominently at the conclusion in ink by Franklin Pierce. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light staining, a small tape stain to the upper left corner, and faint toning from prior display.
