Description

Original color glossy 11 x 14 photo of the young and carefree Marilyn Monroe posing with a polka-dot umbrella during a trip to Long Island’s Tobey Beach, originally taken in the 1940s by photographer Andre de Dienes and printed from the original negative during the 1970s. Reverse bears the credit stamp of Andre de Dienes, and a stamp indicating that the photo derives from the collection of Kim Goodwin, a talented makeup artist and dedicated Marilyn Monroe fan known for creating one-of-a-kind custom Marilyn Monroe dolls and for his personal collection of vintage Monroe photographs. In very fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA, certifying it as an authentic “Type II” photograph.
