Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Monroe seated playfully on a large tufted cushion, the lacy strap of her dark evening gown slipping off her shoulder, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Mall Dodson, Thanks a million for the wonderful press job you did. Warmest Regards, Marilyn Monroe.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and the handwriting quite light but completely legible. A vivacious and intimate image of Marilyn at her most playful, elevated by a heartfelt inscription recognizing the recipient’s “wonderful press job.”
