Description

ANS signed “Edison,” one page, 8 x 10.25, October 31, 1921. Handwritten note at the bottom of a letter sent to him by Hal Starrett, an Edison Phonograph Company inspector/salesman. Starrett writes concerning the placement of Edison phonograph machines within the household, with commentary on experiments to dampen loud surface noise. Edison responds, in part: "The whole trouble is that our old records they have are rotten—They won't complain when they get the club records." In fine condition.
