Signed on the inside front cover in blue ballpoint, "Matt Groening, 10/2/86," who adds an uncommon full-length sketch of the one-eared Bongo, the illegitimate son of Binky. In fine condition, with some scattered toning and spotting to the signed page and title page. This delightfully early sketch of Bongo was drawn roughly six months before The Simpsons premiered on The Tracey Ullman Show (April 19, 1987), and more than three years before Springfield’s finest made their Fox network debut on December 17, 1989.
