TLS signed “K. Richards,” one page, 8.25 x 11.75, The Mobile Studio Limited letterhead with 'Tongue and Lips' logo, January 11, 1985. Letter authorizing chauffeur Jozef Sakowicz to transport personal effects between London and Paris during the Dirty Work recording sessions, in full: “Please accept this letter as my authorisation for Mr. Jozef Sakowicz to take my personal effects from London to Paris on my behalf. Mr. Sakowicz will return to England and later after my stay in Paris return to bring my effects back to England. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may offer him.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter from Jozef’s daughter: “My late father was The Rolling Stones personal chauffeur for many years. He toured with them across the world and was in charge of logistics for all of the members including families.”

The Rolling Stones traveled to Paris in January 1985 to record tracks for their album Dirty Work at EMI Pathe Marconi Studios in Boulogne-Billancourt, just outside the city. During the Paris sessions, they laid down various tracks, including ‘Dirty Work’ and ‘Harlem Shuffle.’ After recording concluded in Paris, the group traveled to RPM Studios in New York to finish the album, which would be released in 1986.
