Sought-after vintage ballpoint signatures of The Yardbirds on a light blue 6.25 x 5 album page, which is signed in ballpoint by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Paul Samwell-Smith, Jim McCarty, Chris Dreja, and Keith Relf, with all but Clapton and Samwell-Smith adding inscriptions to a woman named “Leslie.” Collector’s notation indicates that the Clapton and Samwell-Smith signatures were obtained at the Odeon in Hammersmith, London, on December 28, 1964, when the Yardbirds were performing on the Beatles Christmas show; just three months after this, on March 15, 1965, Clapton quit the band and was replaced by Jeff Beck, who played his first gig with the group on March 30, 1965, which is around the time the remainder of the signatures were obtained.
