Handwritten letter in Latin by Lorenzo de Medici, unsigned, 9 x 12, April 1. Unsigned letter written in de Medici's hand. Loosely translated, in part, "Now that Lombardy has become part of horrible Florence as Lorenzo wished, he wants his correspondent to come and meet with him within the next two or three days, 'for a private conversation." de Medici has also inserted several lines of code into the letter, with the last paragraph "hoping to avoid every disgrace." In very good condition, with overall creasing, light staining, and edge toning.
