Description

Limited edition original artwork of Murdoc Faust Niccals of Gorillaz by pop street artist Jagga, entitled 'Gorilla Glue,' numbered 19/20, accomplished in mixed media on 24 x 23.75 canvas, depicting the Satan-worshipping, Keith Richards-inspired bass player seated with a cigarette, with painter rats to his left and right. Signed prominently in black felt tip by Paul Simonon, who played on the 2010 Gorillaz album Plastic Beach, and later served as the band’s live bassist during their Escape to Plastic Beach Tour. The reverse is signed by the artist, who writes “Nineteen of Twenty.” Rolled and in fine condition, with some paint loss. Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from Jagga, a UK-based contemporary pop and street artist known for his bold, colorful works that blend graffiti aesthetics with pop culture references—especially music and album art. While his real name and full background aren’t public, he’s recognized for combining urban street style with gallery-ready pop art sensibilities.
