Flown double-sided cue card carried on Space Shuttle Discovery during STS-51-D, 9.5 x 7, signed and flight-certified in black ballpoint, "This cue card was used in the operation and monitoring of the waste management system on STS-51D. Karol 'Bo' Bobko." The age old question—'how do you go to the bathroom in space?'—is answered by this card, which contains procedures for the "Apollo Bag Procedure," "Urine/Feces Collection - Failed Waste Water Tank," "Urine Collection," "Urine/Feces Collection," "WCS Cleaning," and "Fan Sep Failure," and provides an in-flight annotated "Urine Screen Replacement Log." Velcro tabs on each side, and staining of cue card seem to indicate that it was hung near or around the Shuttle's waste facilities. In very good to fine condition.
