Vintage fountain pen signature, "Orson Welles,” on a beige 1.75 x .75 slip; on the reverse he has scribbled a quick sketch of an unidentified object. In fine condition, with irregular edges and some blotting to the ink. A very early example, reportedly penned when Welles was just a precocious ten year old fourth-grader in Madison, Wisconsin.
