DS, nine pages, 8.5 x 11, November 6, 1953. Agreement between the William Morris Agency and Katharine Hepburn related to the “production of a photoplay…based upon ‘The Millionairess’ by George Bernard Shaw.” Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Hepburn. In fine condition. Written in 1936 by George Bernard Shaw, The Millionairess enjoyed a major revival in 1952 when Katharine Hepburn led a celebrated London production that later moved to New York for an 83-performance run. The play was adapted for film in 1960, directed by Anthony Asquith and featuring Sophia Loren alongside Peter Sellers.
