British statesman and one of the most important politicians of his day (1836–1914) who played a central role in winning the Second Boer War. Chamberlain,” one page both sides, 4.5 x 7, 40 Prince's Gardens letterhead, April 8, 1907. Handwritten letter regarding his views on the Boer War, in part: "The general attitude of the country during the war has from the first been most patriotic & encouraging. I feel sure that the constancy they have shown will in the long run be fully rewarded." In fine condition, with light creasing and soiling .
