Baseball executive and Hall of Famer (1881-1965) best known for signing Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers. TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, September 24, 1965. Letter to Ron Baylukoff, in full: "Your letter to the Cardinals finally caught up with me. To anybody who is anxious to locate me in order to get my autograph, surely should receive a note of appreciation for his kindly interest." In fine condition.
