TLS, one black-bordered page, 5.25 x 6.75, Hyde Park on the Hudson, N.Y letterhead, April 24, 1945. Letter to Mrs. Good, in full: “The lovely mixed flowers added so much cheer to my apartment, and a breath of spring. It was more than kind of you to think of sending them, and I am deeply grateful.” In fine condition. A gracious letter of thanks from the former first lady, whose husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, passed away just 12 days prior.
