Original vintage glossy 11 x 13.5 silver gelatin photograph of the young and carefree Marilyn Monroe posing with a polka dot umbrella during a trip to Long Island’s Tobey Beach, originally taken in 1949 by photographer Andre de Dienes and printed from the original negative during the 1960s. Reverse bears the credit stamp of Andre de Dienes. In fine condition, with a few small creases, and a thin band of emulsion irregularity to the right edge, which also bears a short tear. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA, certifying it as an authentic "Type II" photograph.
