Original souvenir section of the California redwood catwalk used by workers during the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge in the 1930s, 6˝ x 3.5˝ x .5˝, with the top featuring wood-burned text and imagery: “A Part of the Bridge / During Construction This Piece of California Redwood Was Used in the Golden Gate Bridge Catwalk.” The reverse is speckled with orange paint. Includes its original green souvenir box and pamphlet. In fine condition.
