Danish physicist (1885–1962) who was awarded the 1922 Nobel Prize in Physics for his theory of atomic structure. Danish offprint booklet of Bohr's article entitled "Lys og Liv [Light and Life]," a lecture delivered at the opening meeting of the II International Congress of Light Therapy in Copenhagen, August 15, 1932, and published as 'Saertryk af Naturens Verden [Special Features of the Natural World], 1933,' 6.25 x 9.25, eleven pages, signed and inscribed on the detached front wrapper in fountain pen, "Fil William Scharff…from Niels Bohr." In very good condition, with toning to the detached front cover.
