American businessman (1868–1938) who founded the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, one of the first global makers of automobile tires. TLS signed “H. S. Firestone,” one page, 8.25 x 11, The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company letterhead, September 22, 1923. Letter to Eugene F. LaPorte of the LaPorte Heinekamp Motor Company, in full: "Allow me to thank you for the photographs of President Harding which were taken in Florida last year. I appreciated them more than I can tell you as, I believe, they are the only pictures I have of him in the south. I hope that I may have the opportunity of reciprocating at some early date. I expect to go to Florida this winter and if you are there I hope you will call on me so we can get personally acquainted." In fine condition.
